Under celestial dreams, Xianxia and Wuxia worlds unfold
A Golden Lotus….. 40,000 years ago….. “Don’t leave me! NO! NO! NO! NO! Qian Qian! NOOOOOOOO!” His sorrowful howl resounded. Everyone there heard his anguish and distress. Grievously Ye Hua roared full of despair as he clung to Bai Qian’s limp, lifeless and tattered body in pure desperation. His loud, noisy heart-wrenching weeping echoed in […]
Déjà Vu… Guests were a rare and uncommon occurrence in the Fox Den and Bai Qian saw a stranger with her father. It was the broad, muscular backside of someone she didn’t recognize. However, when the mysterious man turned to his side, his striking profile she identified and knew immediately. It was the older twin […]
All I Saw Was You….. “Shifu, why are you so late? It’s rude to keep a lady waiting.” The soft familiar female voice called out to him in the darkness of his room on Kunlun Mountain. Mo Yuan lit the small candle by his bedside and there she was waiting on his bed nude. Her […]
Somehow his younger twin knew his question before Mo Yuan even uttered a single word. Ye Hua seemed to be inside his confused, disoriented head and well aware of the reason behind his sudden trip to Celestial Heaven. The visit was Mo Yuan’s last resort, the final chance to learn of Lifen’s location and whereabouts. […]
An Endeavor of the Heart….. As he’d done countless times before, Ye Hua carefully closed and locked the dungeon doors to the place of SuJin’s punishment. The wretched spot he’d visited everyday at the very same time for the last 40,000 years. He wasn’t a cruel, heartless monster and it took a toll on him […]
LiLi Her arrival was in the early afternoon. The teahouse was empty, about to close for the night. This was her usual routine after a day of listening to storytellers at the teahouses. Time flew by as she got lost in the stories, captivated by the tales of adventure, love, and tragedy. Tragedies were her […]
A-li Bai Qian~ I wish I could wipe this goofy smile off my face, the corners of my lips stretched wide. I’m probably looking foolish, my eyes openly admiring them, but encountering the legendary immortal brothers, Mo Yuan and Ye Hua, is a rare event. Not that I get out often. I’ve never gotten a […]
“Don’t leave me! NO! NO! NO! NO! Qian Qian! NOOOOOOOO!” Bai Qian jolted upright, drenched in cold sweat and fear, abruptly awakened. The same dream haunted her again. The one she could never remember. Though her mind was blank, she constantly heard that sobbing voice. A scream, sharp with pain, and calling her name, stayed […]
For obvious purposes, the realm Qingqiu was Mo Yuan’s first stop of many and his first destination to confess everything. He hoped perhaps if Bai Zhi became aware of his actual, purposeful plans and how and why he’d become so intimately involved in Bai Qian’s heavenly trial. Mo Yuan hoped to soften the surprising blow, […]
Bàofù… It was like watching a mirrored reflection when Ye Hua and Mo Yuan both rushed each other roughly. Both twins at the very same time grabbed each other by their collars with intense gazes burning. Those who saw them shook in fear because it was a tense and scary scene to witness. The tension […]
False Hopes Became New Hopes….. Carelessly SuJin half tossed Ye Hua’s daily requested tea on his desk and hatefully sneered at her rouged lips. She naturally assumed he was fully aware of evil Bai Qian’s sinister drugging of her. Then allowed her to be hauled away like a common criminal after all SuJin had ever […]
Desperate Measures….. In full silent retreat and seclusion, Qian Qian abruptly closed up in the Hall of Beautiful Youth for almost an entire month. She reopened its doors, as suddenly as she’d closed them but she never appeared before Ye Hua. When he went to her, always absent was she, and never did she come […]
All or Nothing….. “One, two, three, four…” A-Li stood with his small head resting against one of the many pine trees on Mount Junji. Counting aloud when Ye Hua silently snuck up behind and tickled his sides. His startled son twirled around surprised with big bright eyes and then giggled delightedly to see his father. […]
High, sturdy stonewalls surrounded the Forever Blooming Hibiscus brothel like a well-guarded fortress, or more like a strongly fortified prison for the many helpless women forced to sell themselves inside. It was a sad, depressing looking place regardless of the garish, ornately decorated rooftops, and it broke his heart to know Lifen was inside. Mo […]
Reverse Psychology….. Ye Hua closed and rested his tired eyes. His temples throbbed due to the extensive range of chaotic emotions churning inside him, which were baffling. He couldn’t decide which was worst – the injury or the rage; the sorrow or the profound disappointment; the desperation or resentment; the love or hate. He felt […]
